Sponsoring The African Diaspora ROUNDTABLE Series
OVERVIEW
The African Diaspora Roundtable series that starts on Aug. 18th, 2023 is a planning strategy for preparing African diaspora stakeholders to participate in planning summits during the Fall 2023.
The African Diaspora Roundtable series gives a framework for building diaspora stakeholder capacity in cultural data collection, data communication, and data circulation for the world of 21st century technology.
African diaspora efforts with the United Nations are being communicated inside a ‘global consultative process’ for data-collection that can recognize and address systemic and structural barriers to participation.
The Aug. 18th, 2023 launch of the African Diaspora Roundtable series will take place at Hotel Indigo Atlanta Airport in College Park, Georgia.
Twenty participants with diverse backgrounds as diaspora neighborhood, community, faith and small business business leaders are confirmed to participate in-person for a moderated roundtable discussion.
The discussion is available for online viewing real-time by RSVP'ing to the Zoom presentation of the Roundtable. During the Roundtable, the Zoom audience has the opportunity to forward their questions and comments to the Roundtable Moderator.
World Human Rights Network Chairman Al Bartell, a Diaspora Management Consultant and a certified mediator in the area of public policy, will be moderating the African Diaspora Roundtable series.
